The Windjammers are happy to announce We are adding a Rev Simulator to our arsenal of stuff we travel with. What is the simulator you say? Well the hardest part about teaching or letting some fly a maneuverable kite is its hard for the person to understand the relationship between the kite and your hand movements. Make it a Rev and concept is harder by two move lines.
Revolution Kites came up with a great system called the Rev Simulator. I/Gary had a chance to see and use this system while at the Sky Circus on Ice in Delevan Wisconsin in February. Spoke to David Hadzick and we now have a system to let other try their hand on flying. Come on out and give it a try. Thank Joe, David and Lolly at Revolution Kites
Now I,(Gary) Michael, Jon and Jean, Came prepared for the cold but the wind gust to 36 MPH, was another story. So equipment becomes very stress in these conditions. So after many repairs were able to get in a couple performances. It was good to see several of our Summer weather friends.
Now Sunday was a bit better. Just as cold but not as windy. Occasionally we had some very low winds. But our last show was the best. Thanks to all the volunteers, Lake Lawn Resort, all the other performers and Gift of Wings for a very nice weekend. See you next year.
The 3rd largest overnight snow fall in Detroit history, 16 plus inches of snow.
This will be our second indoor practice for the 2015 Season. Well the snow came down and cancelled the event. We have the space again Sunday the 8th.
Welcome to The Windjammers News Blog. Keep up with the latest adventures throughout the 2015 season.
